The Dark Bayou EM

Bayou, along with Great White JTR, arrived quickly in a quality presentation box. Upon opening the box the visual esthetics of the Bayou is better than I had imagine, and that's only superseded by the build quality when in you hand. Solid feel in the bracelets, rotating bezel is utterly smooth with just the right amount feedback, and the ceramic bezel looks fantastic. Dial details present flawlessly, the lume is bright, and this combination of colors works for both days in my suit as well as casual wear when out. I couldn't be happier with this timepiece; especially for the cost! I have a box full of automatics and I'm shocked with the accuracy compared to my Omega, Tag Heuer, Oris, and multiple Tissots. I rolled the dice and bought the Great White as well unsure if I would prefer one over the other and I'm keeping them both. Customer service is as awesome as you've read from others, and the personal touch of a message hand written upon receipt of the timepieces was above and beyond. Monterey has a customer for life!!! If your thinking about buying, DO IT!!!

I like everything about this watch. It feels great on the wrist, looks even better with the subtle gold accents. Its everything I was hoping for, great value and quality, I immediately ordered another watch from Monterey the same day I received my first. Very happy with this purchase!

Absolutely beautiful and classic design. Evan M did an incredible job bringing a classic dive watch into the modern era. I can wear this in jeans and a t-shirt or while dressed up for a formal event. I just received my Dark Bayou watch and man, is it beautiful! The pics on your site do not do it justice - this watch is attractive and is very well finished. After a few adjustments to the bracelet, it fits perfect. I am also buying a high quality tropical rubber strap for it, as I plan on wearing this watch while doing just about everything. Thanks for such a great piece - it is amazing that I can get a wtch of this uality at this price and it is made in the USA.
