Just received my Casino today! As I anxiously picked it up from the box I could tell this was a watch of substance, quality, and beauty. And the customer service was simply awesome. Tim reached out to me personally with a phone call to let me know my timepiece was ready to ship! What company does that? What a ‘bang for the buck’ transaction! I was so impressed, I’m buying another Casino…this time the diver…both have exquisite silver dials.
I bought this watch on a whim, looking to try one of the smaller microbrands that I had never heard of. As such I had very low expectations. I was shocked when I took the Casino out of the box. The first thing you notice is the weight. It feels sturdy and well made. A great feature is the screw pins that they use on the band. This makes sizing the watch much easier and is simply indicative of high end watches. Overall I could not be happier with this watch. It will compete with much more expensive watches for wear time and I will most assuredly buy another one of their watches. Thank you Monterey Watch Co. for making such a nice watch for such a great price. As much as I hate to encourage price increases the company should increase the price of their watches to help the perceived value, allowing the watches to compete with companies like Tissot on an equal footing. Awesome product at a sinfully low price!!!!!
I can’t say enough about this watch. I just got the Casino today and couldn’t believe the quality for how much I paid for it. Tim and everyone at Monterey Watch Co. were great and the customer service was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.
I bought the Casino because I’ve desperately wanted an Oyster Perpetual homage for some time now. There are very few options out there with any sort of quality assurance and most come from overseas. I had misgivings about this one from the pictures but overall it is a very decent watch, for the price. I would like to see a better set of endlinks on the bracelet, a thinner depth and smaller diameter, some brushing to contrast the polish on the case, and a no-date variant. But again, cost. It’s a very inexpensive piece so I mitigate my expectations. It will not get much wrist-time but is the right balance of finish and build for the price.
I ordered the Casino for my son's 20th birthday. After having a series of very causal and sporty watches, his new Casino is refined, elegant, smart, and beautiful. A watch worthy of his start of adulthood. He's thrilled with it and I'm looking forwards to seeing him wear it well for many years as a professional. Thanks Monterrey Watches!
