Sometimes a watch comes out that just...nails it. The Blackstream does just that. Our very first fully custom piece. We are extremely proud of this timepiece.
Pilot watches prioritize legibility and luminosity, making them essential for aviation enthusiasts. The Monterey Watch Co. Blackstream pilot diver stands out with its Automatic NH35A movement and surgical stainless steel case. The woven mesh steel bracelet bears a Latin inspirational phrase on the clasp, reminding you, "It's your time."
With 100m water resistance, it's versatile for various occasions. The C3 lume bezel and sword hands ensure exceptional brightness and legibility. Measuring 40mm with a 20mm lug width, it's comfortable and well-proportioned. The iconic M logo, serving as the "3" on the dial, adds a unique touch.
Moreover, it's not just a pilot watch; it's also a capable dive piece with a 60-click rotating bezel with a ceramic insert and 100M water resistance. The Blackstream is the ideal companion for aviation and underwater adventures.

I own four Monterey watches and gave this one as a gift to my son. He loves it! Well done guys.
I recently ordered a custom Blacktip (black dial/blue bezel) and I let out an audible "WOW" when I opened the box. The value of this timepiece cannot be understated for the price. The watch displays solid construction, nice brushed finish, screwed-in links, ceramic bezel insert with lumed pip (and perfectly aligned), aligned indices and a very cool combination of design features from some of the most popular dive watches on the market. In addition, the personal touch of hand written notes from the Owner and the extremely quick fulfillment and delivery made this purchase memorable. Very excited to see what Monterey does down the road.

I own quite a few watches....mostly small brands from all over the world. I happened upon the Backstream Adventurer online and really liked the idea of combining elements from a pilots watch and a dive watch. Have been wearing it quite a bit in the weeks since it arrived and I am delighted. Easily readable (good job on the lume), solid, quality construction and I really like the band! This is a really good watch! And it's not just a "really good watch for the money" - really good in its own right AND a really strong value!
Came across Monterey watches in a blog discussing classic watch alternatives. Decided to look further into this brand and visited the website. Was surprised by the appearance, pricing, offered by an American manufacturer. Decided to purchase and upgraded to the Sellita movement offered. Process was seamless from first contact with customer service, through build and final shipping. Tim reached out several times during purchase, very gracious and helpful. The watch itself exceeded my expectations. Fit and finish extraordinarily nice, time keeping accurate so far. Definitely would be pressed to find an alternative at this cost. Will be purchasing another in the future. Don't think too long if you're looking, just order one, you won't be disappointed.
