This is my first Monty, but not my last. I purchased this timepiece on a friend's recommendation, and am not disappointed. He informed me that Monterey's hook is an affordable take on watches of high standing in the service/safety brotherhood. I was in the market for a nicer quality watch, but don't want to dedicate an arm and a leg to owning one. I like nice stuff as much as the next guy, but I have plenty of other pursuits that consume my wallet "headroom"! To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. Although I knew my friend would not steer me wrong, I had no idea just how spot-on he was in his assessment of the brand. I have not seen better timepieces at this price point, considering the features packed into the Sea Siren, I knew it wouldn't be my last order from Monterey Watch Co. It just feels like a quality watch when you take out of the box; yes, even the presentation is nice. I have a history of not keeping watches in one piece for long, but I knew I wanted a "dressier" watch that could go from casual to formal easily and the Sea Siren does that well. It's well-proportioned, accurate and looks fantastic. This is one I'll be taking care of; Thanks!
I received the Sea Siren and immediately unboxed it. Having been my first watch purchased from Monterey Watches, I went in open minded. Upon opening the box, the contrast of the dial to the satin case really sets it off. The dial indices just jump off the dial at you.
This is an easy watch to read and read quickly. If you like clean dials, this is one of the best out there. It’s 45mm but wears small as it isn’t very thick. So it wears smaller than a 45mm.
For the money, you can’t go wrong with the Sea Siren or really any Monterey watch. Great service and great timepieces. Not a lot of money but you really get a bang for the buck here.
A friend posted a pic of the Sea Siren watch on special media, and I’ve been looking for a classic blue watch with matte finish and clean lines. Got a great discount, love the look, and the fit is great. Can’t wait to purchase my next Monterey Watch!!! -Jeff in FL.
