Adventure starts here. The EBC GMT from Monterey Watch Co. brings you the key features you need in an adventure/travel timepiece with an attendant load of style as well. We also salute our intrepid team who trekked to EBC (Everest Base Camp) in 2024.
Powered by the legendary Seiko NH34 GMT movement, with a fixed 24-hour bezel, white dial with high lume and our signature red sweep hand, we stay true to the classic but add some splash of our own.
Available with date magnification or flat sapphire, and with the Arctic White or Abyss Black dial, you can find just the right look for your wrist.

I am very impressed with the customer service, quality, and thoughtfulness that goes into Monterey Watches. Tim is doing a great thing with how he approaches service. I received the box with a letter, stickers, a bracelet and a great looking EBC GMT. Read the book Unreasonable Hospitality, and you’ll understand what I mean, amazing service and customer care. The watch is super clean, and looks great. I love the choice of the harpoon/spear hands, and the red GMT hand. Overall I am very impressed with the watch, I wear it often and definitely will purchase another Monty. Thanks!!!
Purchased the EBC GMT because I loved the look and a friend recommended it. Wanted to give it a fair try and wore it for a couple weeks. Not very impressed. Band is uncomfortable on the wrist and watch just feels cheap. Disappointed overall.
I bought this watch for my son , he has a small wrist so fit him perfect, to be 100 percent honest fo me it was too small ( the face ) don’t see as well as I use to , but for him perfect, the company is amazing with email and communication about your order no complaints there , the watch is beautiful but the box felt inexpensive, had a thanks note with my last name nice detail , overall good experience, thanks
Awesome watch for the money. I was after a fixed bezel GMT for a while. I shop for value, as my watch budget allows. After looking and looking, I fell upon Monterey Watch Co. Based on what I was after, this model checked pretty much every single box. At least 100m WR, sapphire crystal, strong and reliable movement. I am only a few days in, so the NH movement hasn’t fully settled yet…but it’s humming away right around +8. I find that totally acceptable. After getting an email with a very generous promo code, this purchase became one of the most no brainer purchases I have made. If I could improve one thing, it would be the lume. While I love the fact that the 24 hour GMT hand is in a different color, I find that the lume in general does not last as long as I would like. Other than that, this one has a place in my small and humble rotation for the foreseeable future. Oh, and supporting a local NC company is the cherry on top for me!
