Dark Bayou EM

Forgot to mention the lume as well. Mine appears to be applied unevenly. The hands are much lighter than the hour markers and even the 9 oclock appears lighter. It also only lasts maybe 10 minutes.

First off love the looks. This thing on the 5 link bracelet is a stunner. And the bracelet I think is phenomenal with its micro adjust. It’s also a strap monster. Has looked good on any leather or nato strap I put it on. Now the bad. The bezel has no resistance. It’s way too easy to bump it and now you’re not where you set it. I notice it so often. And then a nitpick of mine, when setting the time and turning the crown clockwise it moves the hands counter clockwise. Never had that before so it throws me for a loop everytime I do need to adjust the time. Overall I think it’s a good watch, but the lackluster bezel really kills it for me

Had been following Tim and the Monterey journey for a while and just never took the plunge. Finally saw the Dark Bayou was back in stock and had to take the plunge. And man am I glad I did! Gorgeous watch. Great finishes. The rose gold accents on the matte black are perfection for my taste. It has been said multiple times but the pictures really don’t do it justice. I went with the 5 link bracelet and this is a 10/10!

This is my first watch from a micro brand watch company. I am so glad I decided to go with Monterey. I can't say enough great things about my Dark Bayou. The black and rose gold look stunning. The pictures on the site don't do it justice. Lume is great, bracelet is great (although I opted for a rubber strap instead. Just personal preference.) , the whole damn watch is great. Buy it before it sells out!

Beautiful watch and excellent quality for the price! I especially like the on-the-fly adjustment on the clasp, a feature often missing from much more expensive watches.
