This was my first purchase with Monterey Watches and I am extremely impressed with the quality of this watch. I was a little worried about the case size since I'm used to wearing 41-45mm watches, but this watch looks very good on the wrist. The crystal looks awesome and gives so much depth to the watch, and makes viewing from any angle possible. I chose the 'Sherwood Green' model and the color is a super deep rich shade of green...I absolutely love the pop of color this watch gives.
Overall I'm very impressed with this watch, but the main reason I made the purchase was this being an American company started by a watch enthusiast with excellent reviews.
You can buy with confidence from this company....excellent shipping, packaging, watch presentation, free extras and with personalized note. I'll definitely buy another watch soon.
Got the Blackstream X Luna with the red bezel and very happy - fantastic looking watch. Very happy to see MWC doing something a bit different. Really love the crown sleeve, so cool. Would like to see a bracelet for the watch as well....
This is my second Monty, and I love it as much as the Blue Knight GMT I purchased awhile back. The lume is awesome, and the watch is very well made. I can’t wait to get it in the water and see how well it holds up against the elements. Thanks!
first off, i love that huge no nonsense crown. that sets the stage for everything on this being solid and classic milsub styling. to further the classic look this has no crown guards, which has become a vintage style that not just me is loving these days. the total look is very consistent classic, with a lot of nicely done touches not necessarily found elsewhere, such as the double domed crystal (and that monster crown). the Seiko NH35 is a dependable bullet proof engine, and even a lume tip on the seconds hand. glad they put this on something other than a bracelet, with the included camo very nice. but i put mine on a tropics style dive strap and all that onto a military style bund pad. a lot of different directions you can take this, and it looks good in all of them. thanks.
