Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, was a notorious 18th-century pirate who terrorized the Atlantic coast of the American colonies. Despite his fearsome reputation, little is definitively known about his early life, and many aspects of his legend remain shrouded in mystery.

What we do know is if modern timekeeping was available back then, he would have rocked this watch.

The Blackstream QAR, a nod to Blackbeard’s infamous ship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge (QAR), is a timepiece as dark and mysterious as the pirate himself. This all-black watch, with its 41mm case and 100M water resistance, is built to withstand the test of time and any adventure that comes your way.

The QAR builds on the success of its predecessor, the Blackstream Pilot Diver. Like its pilot watch sibling, the QAR features a reliable automatic NH35 movement and Swiss C3 lume for superior visibility in low-light conditions.

This North Carolina-inspired timepiece comes with two straps: a classic striped “Bond 007” or OD green-and-red MILTAC fabric strap for a touch of sophistication, and a black silicone “tropical” strap for a more rugged look.

And to top it off? A skull-and-roses logo on the caseback. Of course.
